Xiaomi has launched many products which are quite popular among the Android TV Box owners. We all remember Mi Box and Mi Box S . Xiaomi has launched another product this year which is without a doubt interesting product. Xiaomi has created an android box with smart features but I see it more of an android smart TV. The new Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV 43 Black has a large 43-inch display and it uses the Amlogic T962E soc.
Design
The design of this android smart TV is simple but elegant. The bezels around the screen are quite thin, making the overall look of the TV quite nice. The frame of the TV is also made from metal, giving it a premium look. This android smart TV weighs only 8.5kg so moving it around should be easy for most people.
The Redmi Smart TV 43 Black has its own remote control and the build quality of the remote is quite good. I think that you can easily control the TV with the remote. The remote has a lot of buttons, but they are all easy to reach.
Display
The display on this android smart TV is really good. The colors are quite saturated and the blacks are really black. This TV uses a VA panel and I think that it’s a good choice for this TV. The sound of the TV is probably its biggest weakness. The speakers on this TV are not the greatest and I recommend that you connect some external speakers if you want to enjoy your favorite shows or movies.

Picture quality:
1080p videos are looking good on this TV thanks to the amazing display. I must say that I was really surprised with the picture quality of this android smart TV. The colors are very nice and saturated, making them pop out a bit more. I have used other TVs before and usually found it hard to distinguish the dark parts of the video, but that is not the case with this TV. The only downside of the display of this android smart TV is that it’s not 4K so you cannot play 4K videos on it.
4K Android box:
If you want to use your TV for streaming, I recommend getting a 4K android box such as Beelink GT1 Ultimate. This box is cheap and it has a lot of power so you will have no problem streaming 4K videos with it.
Software:
The Redmi Smart TV 43 Black uses Android 8.1 Oreo as its operating system. This is a very recent OS and it should be easy to use for most people. I like that Xiaomi has used Oreo because it is a very stable OS and it looks good on large displays such as this one.
Conclusion:
Overall, I think that the Redmi Smart TV 43 Black is a really good product. It has a great display, simple but elegant design and it’s very easy to use. The only downside of this TV is the sound quality, but you can easily fix that by connecting some external speakers. If you are looking for an Android smart TV with a large display, I recommend you consider the Redmi Smart TV 43 Black.
